Utilizing Glassdoors unique jobs and salary data, Stansell took a deeper dive into todays most in-demand media jobs and what these jobs pay. Stansell looked at a sample of 85 news media companies that includes digital-native, print-native, broadcast and radio news media employers.Surprisingly, the most in-demand role news media companies are hiring for today is account executive , a sales rol e, and not reporter or editor. This indicates the high demand for talent who are able to boost sales to enable these companies with the resources they need to continue reporting and producing the news, says Stansell.Here are the most in-demand news media jobs, what they pay on average and whos hiring.
